Guide to Middle Zakanese: A Dialect of Threeyearold

Middle Zakanese, a dialect of Threeyearold, is spoken mainly in the Stefanisko household. It is a complex language consisting of nouns; adjectives; verbs; adverbs; and exclamations. Regular, pluralizable nouns are made plural by adding the "zz" suffix. Irregular and non-pluralizable nouns are often unchanged in the plural form, if one exists, although certain nouns are simply repeated to indicate pluralization. Middle Zakanese makes use of adjectives to modify nouns and adverbs to modify verbs. Adjectives always precede the noun they modify where as adverbs follow the verb being affected. Regular sentances are formed using the subject-verb-(optional object) word order, however it is quite common for a verb to stand alone, in this case the subject is the complex implicative also known as "All Ye Who Bow Before Me." It is also quite common for a noun to stand alone, in this case the implied verb is "do" sometimes called called "NOW!" Middle Zakanese also makes use of verbalized punctuation. The interrogative is formed by a tonal uplift at the end of a sentence, and the exclamation "oh" is used at the beginning of a sentence to indicate the surprise or importance usually associated with the exclamation mark. Middle Zakanese evolved from Old Zakanese and is refered to the Middle language out of the hope that by the time the native speaker is four-years-old there will be a Modern Zakanese.
